About JLG Consulting

JLG Consulting & Accounting was built on a simple idea: business owners deserve more than accurate books—they deserve an accounting professional who takes the time to understand their business.

I’m Jennifer L. Goodwin, owner of JLG Consulting & Accounting. I work directly with small business owners, entrepreneurs, consultants, and professionals, providing bookkeeping, client accounting services, and business consulting tailored to the needs of each business.
My approach is personal and hands-on. Rather than simply processing transactions or producing financial reports, I take the time to understand how your business operates, how activity flows through your accounting system, and what your financial information is telling you.

Accuracy and integrity are fundamental to my work, but so is communication. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions, understanding their financial information, and knowing they have an accounting resource who is familiar with their business.

Meet Jennifer L Goodwin

Jennifer L. Goodwin is the owner of JLG Consulting & Accounting, also known as JLG Consulting.

Jennifer provides bookkeeping, client accounting services, and business consulting to small businesses and professionals, working directly with clients to maintain reliable accounting records and provide meaningful financial information.

Her philosophy is straightforward: accounting should help a business owner understand the business—not simply satisfy a reporting requirement.

Jennifer’s hands-on approach allows her to become familiar with each client’s accounting processes, business operations, and financial reporting needs. That continuity gives clients something increasingly difficult to find: a consistent accounting professional who knows their business and is available when questions arise.

When she’s not working with clients, Jennifer is often outdoors camping, hiking or kayaking, usually with a camera nearby. Her love of nature and landscape photography provides a creative counterbalance to her accounting work.
